Spend a delicious day at the beach with commercial fisherman Ficus Chan of Crab Bellingham (IG @crabbellingham), Chef Robin Kort of Swallow Tail Culinary Adventures and other local chefs and seafood specialists learning and eating local clams.

CLAMMING 101 WITH FICUS CHAN
How to Dig for Clams Talk & Demo: Clam ID, Tools, Safety, then it’s time to dig some clams!
2-4pm COOKING WITH CLAMS
Learn how to cook clams with tastings – Cooking demonstrations with featuring local chefs. Learn how to make dishes with different techniques from sashimi to smoking seafood.
- Talk about purging, prep, cleaning clams etc.
- Oyster tasting + other sea delicacies
4pm LET’S GET COOKING
In the evening, it’s fire-pit time where guests can cook their catch on the fire if they like or head home with their catch. It is legal to bring clams back to BC for Canadian residents.
Guests must purchase their own shellfish licenses and get a discovery pass for parking.
